“It was not raining when Noah built the ark”

Message given by Pastor Ron at GVCC
2 Kings 3:16, 20 (NCV)
“The Lord says to dig holes in the valley. The Lord says you won’t see wind or rain, but the valley will be filled with water. Then you, your cattle and your other animals can drink.”
“The next morning, about the time the sacrifice was offered, water came from the direction of Edom and filled the valley.”
Regardless of what external circumstances look like you need to be obedient to the Lord.
You have to prepare before you experience the blessings of God: before God will take you to the next level/miracle. You need to prepare for the miraculous! God needs to see you/us step out in faith first! Obedient response of preparation is required on our part.
God does not dispense His blessings to be wasted! Need to be ready to accept His blessings/miracles!
Five Ways to Prepare for God’s Blessing(s)/Miracle(s)
1. Recognize that you need to hear God’s word in your life!
2. Go to God’s word instead of demanding God’s word come to you.
3. Need to be obedient to His word regardless of how unrealistic it sounds.
4. Realize we are not the only ones struggling; we share a common experience with others.
5. Always need to be in position/prepared so you can be ready for God’s blessing.
We cannot see what God is doing before He blesses us.
God always has a good reason for the way He moves.
Hard for us to accept God working in our lives because we are not open to it…not prepared.
