“I can do all things through Christ….”

I can trust

I can cry

I can grieve

I can wait

I can ask for forgiveness

I can forgive others

I can admit I am wrong

I can  love others and myself

I can say no

I can see my part

I can ask for help

I can allow others to know me

I can allow others to earn my trust

I can have compassion for others

I can accept love and accept others where they are at

I can give and share

I can rest and lay my burdens down

I can pray and be 100% real with God and hold nothing back from Him

I can surrender my need to control, to hate, to be bitter and angry

I can humble myself

I can let go of my past

I can take risks in my relationships and ask for what I want and need

I can forgive myself

I can hope

I can dream

I can pursue my dreams

I can keep my promises, be dependable and responsible

I can speak the truth in love

I can serve for the right reasons

I can be a servant

I can be available for God to use for His righteous purpose

I can resist temptation

I can reject lies and deception

I can refuse to walk in fear

I can walk boldly forward in the knowledge of who my Father is and who I am in Christ

I can release the shame and condemnation from my past

I can accept that the sacrifice Jesus made on my behalf is enough for me, enough to cover my past, enough to sustain my present and secure my future

I can feel my feelings and choose not to stuff them down or numb out with destructive habits

I can express my feelings with God and safe people in safe places

I can let God heal me

I can walk in my gifts

I can take care of myself
